IRVING and EXY SAIL TOGETHER
On July 26, 2003, the Irving Johnson and Exy Johnson were taken out together. These are the first photos of the Twin Brigantines, the Official Tall Ships of the City of Los Angeles, side by side and under full sail...a site depicted in maritime artist Scott Kennedy's paintings, but never before photographed.

With over 6,000 photos of the construction effort, our Photo Archives take you through every step of what was the largest wooden boat building project in the country.
